A London tourist had his car blown up by anti-terrorist officers after it broke down - and he was also given a parking ticket.

Nima Hosseini Razi, 32, said his Ford Mondeo had broken down in early hours of Wednesday close to the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey.

He said he had left a note on the car to say: "This car is broke. Please do not fine me," before going sightseeing.

As always it's the fault of the police rather than this brain dead idiot who wandered off sightseeing...

If only the IRA had thought to leave a note on the windscreen their mainland bombing campaign would have been far more successful!!!

If we blow it up, and it's not a bomb, we are incompetant.
If we don't blow it up, and it is a bomb, people die.

Of course, whatever the outcome the media will kick us in the balls, and the management will let them. I think the press release said something like "a controlled explosion took place near Storeys Gate" What about:

"Once again the Met took action to protect the people of London. On this occassion there was no bomb. Rest assured that in the run up to the Olympics we will continue to do all we can to keep London safe. That's ok, you don't need to thank us, it's what we're here for"

Maybe I should work for the press bureau.......
