has anybody got in to the police force with ccj's on their file as i have one ccj which is four years old but not satified i have 2 years left before they are automatically removed from my file so was wondering if anyone else had come up against this problem having a ccj on your file and still applying and getting in

dazzer, you wont get in with a ccj still active. You can get in with certain debt problems as long as you are lawfully discharging your debt so you can have a debt management plan for example but things like ccj's and bankruptcy are still a bar to applying.

just look at your life in stages. At this moment in time you need to make as much money as possible to clear your debts and get back to a level playing field. In the mean time take your time researching th basic competencies you have to meet for the police whether that be by going on ride alongs or visiting this website, and with those competencies in mind take note of your life experiences and document them to use as examples for your application form.
Lastly take an active part in this site trying to answer members questions based on your experience and join in the debates. You wont go far wrong, I joined this site before I was in the police and I have 4 years service now and getting in had a lot to do with the advice I got of fellow members on here.
