Addressing PSCOs formally
«
on:

When addressing a PC formally, "constable" is used,
an Inspector or above if rank unknown, "officer".
I'm not sure if sergants are officers, so I just call them "sergent".
But what do I call a PSCO? They're under constables, so they're
not officers. But they're not constables either.
So what?
"Assistant!"
"Minion!"
"Oi, you!"
None of those really work in the previous context.
Suggestions?

I think most if not all PCSO's would take umbrage to being described as being "under constables' !!!

I know one or two who have spent a fair amount of time "under constables". And on top of them. And in front of them. Etc, etc, etc.......
