The Ministry of Defence Guard Service (MGS) is to be accredited by the MOD as CSO's with limited powers. The guards who provide an unarmed civillian security guard and patrol service to MOD establishments and training areas.
The MGS is part of the MOD Police & Guarding Agency (MDPGA) which includes the Civillian (90% armed) MOD Police (MDP).
