Funny, I thought provided constructive criticism WAS helping out 

I'd thought smilies weren't working when I went to use the above one - the "code" is the one usually reserved for a "smile"!

Can it be tweaked to send us back to the thread when you've posted - sends me back to the section (i.e. thread list).  EDIT - found the option in settings which is turned off by default.

Also, still getting everything marked as "new" even though I'm logged in and cookies are turned on...

SMF is much better than phpbb, I'm surprised you didn't opt for Vbulletin (yearly licence puts many off)

Is there a download/upload section in this forum/website where members can downnload/upload various documents related to dad to day policing. It might be helpful to share such aide memoirs etc.

There isn't a dedicated download section - not had any requests for it so far - but docs can be uploaded/downloaded in the forums.

Did you have stuff to offer are were you looking for something specific?
